Patrons are regular donors to the Saracens Sport Foundation. They provide valuable ongoing support which enables us to keep our programmes running and remain relevant to the ever-changing needs of our local community. Without the support of our patrons, we would not be able to keep changing the lives of those we reach. Patrons hold a special place within the Foundation Family, and we are always looking to welcome new members.

WHAT WE DO

Today, across Barnet and Hertfordshire, 1 in 4 children won’t be getting fed at home, 49% of older adults are lonely, and only 17% of people with a learning disability play sport. The Foundation creates projects that meet the needs and demands of our local communities, improving the health and wellbeing, education, and employability of the most hard-to-reach and vulnerable people. We have achieved some amazing impacts over the last 18 years: From reducing reoffending by up to 54% at Feltham Young Offenders Institute; to creating more confident and socially included disabled young people; to providing over 400 older people with the chance to get active and reduce loneliness. Last year, we provided a positive influence on the lives of over 3,250 people. With your support we can reach more vulnerable and disadvantaged local people, supporting them to change their lives.

HOW YOUR DONATION CAN HELP

£120…Could provide a complete Tag Rugby kit bag to a local school creating future fans and players of the game

£325…Could provide a Tackling Health project to young people growing up in areas of severe deprivation, empowering them to improve their health and wellbeing

£600…Could pay for transport for 50 of our over 55’s to attend their annual Love to Dance Christmas Party, which for some will be their only opportunity to share a Christmas Dinner with others.

£1200…Could pay for 1 young offender from Feltham Young Offenders Institute to complete our life changing Get Onside project which is proven to keep reoffending rates as low as 15% compared to the national average of as high as 69% within a year of release.
