Rugby 4 Life Festival at Welwyn RFC

Another successful Rugby 4 Life Festival was hosted by Welwyn RFC on Wednesday 9 October. 230 students in Years 5 & 6 took part in Tag Rugby, with an emphasis on enjoyment and using Saracens core values.

Due to the inclusive nature of our festivals we are able have any and all take part, shown proudly by our young people from Bro

okmans Park Primary School who were able to have a young person with visual impairment take part fully with games.

We swapped our festival ball for a brightly coloured ball to help aid his experience.

As well as our participants using core values, we at the Foundation appreciate the facilities, and time taken by our host clubs, that why we made sure we leave the clubhouse the way we found it.

A big shout out to our wonderful sports leaders from Monk’s Walk who officiated, time managed and pitch managed so well, making the experience a positive one for all.
